Oil-Water Separator

Condensate water of compressed-air system contains oil and pollutants in the air, which are harmful to environment. It can not be discharged directly and must be purified.

Long-term discharge of condensate containing waste oil will lead to soil degradation, plant death and water source pollution. Condensate from compressed-air system has been classified as industrial hazardous waste, environmental regulations of various countries clearly prohibit untreated condensate to be discharged directly.

U-separator oil water separator adopts a three-stage filtration, with the filtration elements only absorbing oil and not water.Which is suitable for purifying intermittent small streams of oily wastewater,and specifically used to purify condensate water from compressed-air system, so that condensate discharge meets requirements of environmental regulations.

Working Principle

Condensate water flows into depressurization chamber,depressurization foam filters some granular impurities and makes condensate water depressurized;
Condensate enters barrel No.1, and white element No.1（oil absorption element No.1）absorbs most of the oil in condensate;
Condensate with a small amount of oil enters barrel No.2, and white element No.2（oil absorption element No.2）absorbs remaining oil in condensate;
Condensate after oil removing is filtered by black element（activated carbon element）to adsorb residual hydrocarbon compounds;
Clean condensate can be discharged directly;
Element indicator (blue) visually displays life of elements, indicator sinking to the end means that the elements absorb oil almost fully which need to be replaced.
