Product Features

• The XS series steam filter is designed according to the standards of similar German products. It features a sanitary-grade housing made of precision-crafted 304 or 316 stainless steel, polished both inside and outside with high-precision mechanical finishing, and is available in quick-clamp or flange-type structures. The standard design working pressure is 0.8 MPa. It has a reasonable structure and is easy to install.

• It uses a precision titanium vacuum-sintered microporous filter element, suitable for deep filtration of steam, gas, and various industrial liquids. It can withstand temperatures up to 280°C, with selectable filtration accuracies of 1μ, 3μ, 5μ, 10μ, 20μ, 30μ, and 50μ. It features low resistance, high efficiency, corrosion resistance, no particle shedding, long service life, and strong antimicrobial capability. When the pressure difference increases or the flow rate decreases, the filter element can be regenerated using an ultrasonic cleaner or a special cleaning agent, or by back-blowing with purified compressed air.

• The steam filter is specifically designed to remove various solid impurities such as solid metal particles in steam systems, debris from valve wear, and aging residues from sealing rings. It protects sterilizing filters, autoclaves, and downstream pipelines from blockage and contamination, fully meeting the process requirements of the food, biochemical, beverage, beer, pharmaceutical, and electronics industries.

Notes:

1. Models XS-32ZQ and above are equipped with three support legs.
2. When selecting a steam filter, please provide on-site pipe diameter, steam pressure, steam temperature, and filtration accuracy parameters.
3. Small-sized steam filters generally adopt a cross-hanging, horizontal inlet and outlet structure, while multi-core filters can be designed as floor-mounted types.
4. The steam flow rate refers to the weight of steam filtered per hour (unit: kg/h). The rated flow is calculated under the condition of 0.2 MPa steam pressure; for other conditions, please refer to the conversion table for adjustment.
5. Under the listed configurations, the coarser the filtration accuracy, the lower the pressure loss.
6. The steam flow rates in the table are based on 1 μm filtration accuracy. When 10 μm filtration is selected, the flow rate can increase by approximately three times.
7. The steam flow direction is from outside to inside through the filter element. Please install according to the arrow direction indicated on the housing label.
8. The filter element can also be made of a stainless steel sintered mesh composite, which can withstand temperatures up to 360°C.
9. The recommended working pressure is ≤ 0.6 MPa. The standard configuration includes a manual drain valve that requires periodic water removal. Optionally, a steam trap can be installed to enable automatic condensate discharge.
10. Custom-made steam filters with larger flow capacities or higher pressure ratings are available upon request.
